The Dawgs are thrilled to announce that Brendan Luther will be returning in 2024! Luther aka “Mr. August” has been the catalyst for a potent Dawgs offense since 2022 and has been named the WCBL Playoffs MVP the last two years. In 2023 during the regular season, Luther hit .338 with 8 doubles, 1 HR and 28 RBI with 28 runs scored in 38 games. Even more impressive was Luther’s postseason performance. In 7 games, Luther hit .344 with 11 hits including 3 HR and 10 RBI with 6 runs scored in 7 games en route to the Dawgs 7th WCBL championship.
