The story behind the photo šŸ‘€ā€¦ Have you ever seen this famous spot? It’s one of the images that 1st intrigued me to explore Ecuador. šŸ”ā€™La Casa del Arbol’ & the ā€œSwing at the End of the Worldā€ I REALLY wanted to see this ā€˜tree house’ in person, but did NOT want to experience the awful lines I’d seen. So we did a little research and scored šŸ‘Œ. We enjoyed one of the best mornings at this mini adventure park, seemingly to ourselves. Here’s what we did: 🚐We did NOT take a group tour (only to arrive with massive crowds). 🚌 We did NOT take a bus—although just $1, the local bus only visits 3x per day (hours after opening). šŸ‘ We paid a taxi $10 and arrived right at opening - 9am ( plan for a 20 min ride šŸš•). 🄾Another (free) option - leave early and hike from Banos! Prepare for 2,100 ft (800m straight up) Personally, we thought it was quite magical, but can also see how everyone’s experience will vary significantly. We likely would NOT have felt the same if we’d spent an hour++...
