“We’re pretty confident we’re going to see snow,” said Chris Burling, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Portland, on Thursday afternoon. “We’re just trying to figure out how much at this point.” As of 4:45p Thursday, the NWS is predicting that snow will start in Portland around 4-5p Friday.
