Tested with scarcity when we have nothing and then we decide whether we’ll be a victim blaming everyone (but ourselves) for our lack of success…. or we’ll choose to be a victor and focus our precious time on making the best of any obstacle placed in front of us in an effort to overcome it, understanding these obstacles make us stronger and more resilient. We are also being tested by abundance. When success becomes ours, do we walk in humility when we get our 15 minutes of fame and keep doing the hard work to stay on top or do we bask in our fame and success and forget to keep doing the hard work that got us there in the first place. I think it’s abundance that truly reveals one’s character. It’s when someone gets the money and fame and it’s how they handle it that ultimately reveals the person they truly are.
