As we walk through the historic halls of Howard University, we're constantly reminded of the profound impact Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had on our community and the world. From delivering his first sermon at our beloved Andrew Rankin Memorial Chapel in December 1956, to receiving an honorary doctor of laws degree in May 1957, Dr. King's connection with Howard University is a source of deep pride and inspiration. Through programs like the Jeremiah A. Wright Spiritual Leader Residency, we honor Dr. King's vision by nurturing leaders who embody his spirit of change and hope. This year, we welcome Dr. Teresa L.
