Vancouver: a place near and dear to our hearts! The first time we visited Canada 🇨🇦 we arrived by bike. We had just rode 200 miles (from Seattle), and I was a sweaty, smelly mess….and to top it off, I’d just fallen and had a bloody knee. Not feeling my finest 😂. So I was a taken back when we sat down on a bench for a breather, and Evan dipped down to one knee. I glanced over to see that he’d opened a small box… and it contained a ring. TBH I blacked out the rest, but I soon learned that he’d proposed because my Dad popped out and announced that “the Bachelor always makes a long speech”. 😆 I eventually stuttered out a ‘yes?!’, and after a whirlwind visit exploring Vancouver by bike, we started our 200 mile return 🚲. Vancouver and Stanley Park was always a beautiful blur, and I’ve been dying to return to see properly!
