Mike Rhoades peered through the sea of blue and white that flooded the Bryce Jordan Center hardwood after Penn State’s 87-83 upset win over No. 11 Wisconsin on Tuesday night, looking for any familiar faces. He then found his two sons, who made the trip north from Richmond, Virginia, for what became the greatest win of their father’s 20-year head coaching career. Rhoades has seen his family — all five of whom remain in Richmond — only on special occasions since taking over the Nittany Lions’ program last spring.
