💙 What does successful collaboration on a public art project look like? STEPS and the Town of Oakville (townofoakville) worked together with artist Ning Yang (7.ning) on Competition and Companionship, a new mural at the River Oaks Community Centre. The project was a part of the 2023 CreateSpace Public Art Residency with municipal and cultural partnerships to support artists on their residency journey. 🎨If you’re an artist, #CreateSpaceResidency applications are open for 2024! 🤝If you’re interested in becoming a partner, book a call with us All links in our bio! 🎥Sofia Habib — The 2023 CreateSpace Residency is supported by the Canada Council for the Arts (canada.council) and TD Bank Group (td_canada) through the TD Ready Commitment. We also acknowledge the support of the Canadian Race Relations Foundation (crrf_fcrr) with funding provided by the Government of Canada.
