#WhyIRelayWednesday 💜🎗 “I Relay for my grandfather, Bubba, who is currently in remission from throat cancer. He was diagnosed in the summer of 2017 which was the summer going into my sophomore year of high school. I never had anyone so close to me be affected by cancer until this. It was devastating not knowing what was going to happen. My grandfather and I have a special kind of relationship because I am his only granddaughter out of 6 grandchildren. He always loves going shopping and would take me back to school shopping every labor day and it is our long lasting tradition. He is such a strong amazing human who never fails to make me laugh until my stomach hurts. It brings me so much joy to say he is a cancer survivor and I am so happy to be a part of Relay for Life at Virginia Tech to fight for a cure and make a difference.” - Erica Klaiber, Greek Co-Exec
