Buildings and Food — the hospitality group behind Prosperity Social Club, Good Company and La Cave Du Vin — has acquired yet another longtime Cleveland-area bar: Griffin Cider House and Gin Bar in Lakewood. The bar, known for its homey wood interior and large, British-inspired collection of gins, has operated for eight years at 12401 Madison Avenue. Buildings and Food, led by Will Hollingsworth, is planning a new concept for the location. Details of that concept were not made available. “We’re excited to become a part of the Birdtown community as it grows, and we think we have a concept that will fit really well into the fabric of the neighborhood," said Hollingsworth in a press release.
