The 1876 Keepers’ House was completed two years after the second tower was built, which was constructed from 1871-1874 on higher ground on Anastasia Island because the first lighthouse was slowly falling into the ocean. The St. Augustine Lighthouse will celebrate 150 years in October 2024! Hours are 9 AM-6 PM seven days a week.
