“I always tell my hometown friends that there is nothing like the Panhellenic community at Samford, and studying abroad made me appreciate Samford Panhellenic in an entirely new way,” said Ava Renner.
“I spent this past semester in London through samfordabroad with girls from 5 of the 7 Samford chapters. Panhellenic was initially used as a bonding point for the sorority girls of the Daniel House when we celebrated bid day with a homemade cake, despite the differences in affiliation. I loved watching conversations evolve over the semester from “My little got her little!” to “What West End show should we see together tonight?” It was also really special to share a room with Grace Henry, whom I met in my Rho Gamma group two years prior. There is no faster way to bond with someone than by traveling the world together. I’m so thankful that Samford Panhellenic helped initiate some incredible relationships I formed with girls in the Daniel House.”
