God Blessed the Rocket Man, now that Ryan Newman has WALKED out of the hospital with his daughters in hand, I feel comfortable enough to post my view of one of the most violent accidents In the history of The Daytona 500. Thanks to the safety advancements put forth by NASCAR, the Medical Teams and the Race Teams, accidents like this are more survivable then ever..... it was a very tense 3 hours after the checkered flag flew as fans, friends and family sent their prayers to everyone involved and we all exhaled a sigh of relief when we got the word that Ryan was in serious condition with NO life threatening injuries....
