The war in #Ukraine continues to wreak havoc on the lives of millions of people. As humanitarian needs grow, continued support from the international community is crucial. 14.6 million people need humanitarian assistance in Ukraine – a staggering 40% of the population. 6.3 million people have fled the country and remain refugees, mostly across Europe. A recent wave of attacks has underscored the devastating impact of the war on civilians, all while a bitter winter is ratcheting up the urgent need for life-saving humanitarian aid. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (un_ocha) and the UN Refugee Agency (refugees) have launched a new appeal to support all those in dire need within the country and those who have been #ForcedToFlee.
