23 years ago, the FDA expanded abortion access to millions of people by approving mifepristone—one of the two medications typically used in medication abortion care. Now anti-abortion extremists are fighting to make mifepristone unavailable in all 50 states through a baseless lawsuit. Mifepristone is safe and effective and has been used for decades. Extremists know that they can’t push through a ban on medication abortion care, so they’ve turned to the courts to do their dirty work. Everybody should be free to make their own decisions about their lives, bodies, and futures. We will NEVER stop fighting to protect and expand access to medication abortion.
