I know this is so very late (as in 3 months late 😭😭) But starting in September of 2022 I had been designing and creating 4 looks to be showcased in the Spring 2023 Art2Wear Show at NCSU. I made each individual piece and special thanks to my models who were able to capture the beauty of the pieces perfectly and show it off to all of Stewart Theater!! My collection is called “Motions of Grief” and was inspired by my own personal experience dealing with grief. Each look is meant to represent a different stage in my healing process as well as tell a story all together on how much one can change through a process like this. The majority of my fabrics and accessories were sourced from thrift stores and second hand shops in efforts to promote sustainability and up-cycling!
