Went to Bald Head Island last week on retreat with ncsuagromeck ! - The first few photos are of volunteers working on sea turtle nesting cages at the Bald Head Island Conservancy May 11. The cages provide a safe environment for the nests while having holes large enough for hatchlings to escape. - Next is an American alligator swimming at the Wildlife Overlook on Bald Head Island May 10. The Wildlife Overlook has an observation deck and educational signs to inform the public about the wildlife on the island. - Then a few members of leadership staff!
