Journey Through Our Heritage is a student mentorship program through Metropolitan State University of Denver that partners college peer mentors with local middle and high school students. They aim to engage students in a year-long program that enhances the public school system’s curriculum in African American, Native American Chicano/a, Mexicana/o, Mexican American, and Latina/o Studies.
