Day 7 hockey selects from the Winter Youth Olympics. Before the gold medal curling matches I had a two hour break, which lined up perfectly with a bronze level hockey game just down the road featuring Austria vs Kazakstan. This was a 3 on 3 hockey game, with a no time out substitution every 40 seconds. ⁣It was a very close game with Kazakstan winning 6-5. ⁣ I ended up only bringing one camera - R3 and 100-300 just to test things out. The glare from the glass was pretty meh; they didn’t have any photo “holes” and I didn’t have a big enough ND filter that would fit on a 100-300, especially with such short notice.
