🗣️ 𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐇𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 with Al Catanzarita - 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙙𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙠/𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣? I find a hitting routine that makes me feel confident/prepared for games and I stick to that. Over the course of the season, my main focus is having quality at bats each game and being productive in a way that benefits the team to put us in the best possible position to win. This is important for consistency as not everyday will be your best day but you can still find a way to contribute. 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙙𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙫𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝 𝙫𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨? I like to read the scouting report and watch film on the upcoming pitchers to look for any tendencies that may give me an advantage in the game.
