TikTok is no longer social media's premier short-form content platform. In fact, TikTok is looking to expand its content options by allowing creators to create and upload videos that are up to 30 minutes long.
This is a drastic change when you think about how TikTok first started out with only allowing 15 second videos on their platform. Over the years, the limits have increased to 3 minutes, 5 minutes, and 15, but this new update still remains a gigantic jump.
With YouTube continuously building up Shorts and TikTok now transitioning to long-form video, it seems like social media platforms are trying their best to accommodate all sorts of content, and diversifying themselves from their previously established reputations.
