David Peters takes home the first title of the 2024 PokerGO Cup in Event #1: $5,100 No-Limit Hold'em! Peters began the day with the chip lead, and though it wasn't all smooth sailing, he eventually would bring home the cup and a first place prize of $141,525. Along the way, Peters outlasted Cody Daniels, Dusti Smith, Fabian Quoss, Shawn Daniels, and eventually he took on Mark Ioli heads-up for the title. Ioli had picked up the chip lead over the course of the final table, but Peters was able to overcome the 2-1 deficit to take the W.
