Last Friday, I had the opportunity to honor one of my personal heroes and all time favorite leaders, Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Not only did I get to honor this phenomenal leader and astonishing hero of mine, I got the wonderful opportunity to deliver a speech in front of a community of people that welcomed me with open arms, consistently inspires me, and motivates me to continually be a better person.
Having the opportunity to walk, march, advocate, and speak alongside mentors, friends, and family meant the world to me. Thank you everyone for all of your support, advice, and love.
