Our #Dbacks Baseball Academy had a fantastic time with umps_care earlier this month during their Phoenix Official Leadership Program. The free clinic, geared towards youth 13-18 years old who would like to start working as umpires, offers a foundation of skills that can be used to officiate both baseball and softball. We were joined by both former and current MLB umpires to help with the two-day event, which gave students a direct line to employment, access to equipment and valuable leadership experience.
