Members of the Class of 2025 recently gathered for Canisius High School’s hallmark Kairos Retreat. Students and faculty participated in Kairos 123 last month at the Notre Dame Retreat House in beautiful Canandaigua (ndspirituality).
Named for the Greek term meaning “God’s time,” the Kairos retreat offers students set-apart time to reflect more deeply on their experiences so far at Canisius and their relationship with self, God and others.
The retreat is led by a team of students and faculty members who share reflections, lead meditations and guide small-group discussions about identity, spirituality and personal growth.
At the close of this 123nd CHS edition of Kairos, students left the Finger Lakes with a greater sense of their personal identity, community and familial belonging, as well as with a call to faith, discipleship and service.
