Dawes as the new Editor in Chief of Optics Continuum! #OpticaFellow Judith Dawes (Macquarie University) pioneers research in laser physics, nanophotonics, and laser applications in medicine and communications, including the invention of a laser-cured protein solder for laser microsurgery. As a member of Optica and volunteer for the optics community, she served as associate editor for the Optica journal, and on program committees for FiO, CLEO and more.
