We took one of the coolest helicopter rides in the world — an open-door tour over Kauai, Hawaii — to kick off our marriage. It was a first for both of us. It was a bit scary especially the turbulence and flying through weather, but our pilot, Arthur, and company Jack Harter Helicopters helped ease our nerves. And the views were absolutely stunning. Flying along the Na Pali Coast, past Waipo’o Falls, and the epic ‘Jurassic Falls cliffs, we were literally on cloud nine as we took our love to new heights. God’s beautiful creation was on full display as we marveled. I highly encourage you to take a helicopter tour if you visit Kauai. And if you’re feeling brave let the doors off. The ride could be a tad bit louder and you may get a bit wet (not much) from rain, but it ups the ante.
