The 74th Annual Westchester County Cheerleading Invitational Championships are taking place over two days at the Westchester County Center in White Plains. Cheerleaders from over 30 middle and high schools from throughout the Lower Hudson Valley are participating in the competition. On Tuesday, junior varsity and modified programs competed. In divisions based on school size, the first place finishers were Scarsdale, Ursuline, Putnam Valley and John Jay East Fishkill. On Wednesday, varsity programs will compete, with a grand champion being named at the end of the competition.
