Starting with the Hollywood Bowl’s 50th season kickoff, we remember the U.S. operatic debut of soprano #JessyeNorman. After her Bowl performance of Verdi's "Aida" in July 1972, she would go on to win countless awards, including multiple Grammys and a Kennedy Center Honor.
