Hello everybody, meet Mel. πŸ‘‹ Mel is a PSO Acting Sergeant, currently within the Protective Services Unit. She also proudly wears the title of LGBTIQA+ Liaison Officer (LLO) - one of nearly 500 at Victoria Police. A PSO for seven years, we met Mel at the steps of Parliament House (where you’ll often find her) ahead of this weekend's Midsumma Pride March in St Kilda. 🌈: What do you love about your job MK: I love the variety, not every day is the same. Even though I am at the same location, there is always something different going on. I like talking to the community, hearing their stories, and providing any assistance if required.
