Tear it all down and then rebuild. I was once the #1 ranked hurdler in the world but here we are 20 years later and it’s weird taking peace in progress of moving up jumping 269 spots in one week to 124th in the world. My 27 year old self would be so mad at me if I was ranked 124th. but my 41 year old knees are like BABY YOU GOT MEG KNEES let’s goooooo I know retirement is lurking around the corner but right now I’m putting gas on the home stretch and giving it my all 😤💥 I am draining the tank. Thanking God as I feel a glimmer of what speed feels like again And one day when I’m sitting in a retirement home and i struggle to walk I’ll smile in bliss knowing i ran as long as I could and as hard as I could.
