Temple Station-Rosemead Special Assignment Team, the Los Angeles Centers for Alcohol and Drug Abuse l.a._cada (LACADA), Rosemead Code Enforcement officers, Deputies from the Homeless Outreach Services Team (HOST) lasdhost , Mental Evaluation Team (MET) lasdmet , and the Los Angeles Homeless Service Authority (LAHSA) lahomelessservices conducted a homeless outreach operation in Rosemead. The operation aims to identify unhoused individuals in Rosemead who need help and resources. The Team contacted twelve (12) individuals, documented each encounter thoroughly, and provided resources such as mental and medical health, housing, drug rehabilitation, DMV, and children/family services. Among them, two individuals accepted services of drug treatment and housing. The operation also resulted in six (6) arrests for trespassing, felony assault with a deadly weapon, auto theft, felony parole violation, violation of a restraining order, and drug possession.
