“The People’s Champion,” George Fletcher, is best remembered for his presence at the 1911 PendletonRoundUp_HC. He was the first African American to compete in bronc riding at the Pendleton Round-Up and was one of the first 10 honorees when the Pendleton Round-Up began its Hall of Fame in 1969. #BlackHistoryMonth #PendletonWhisky #PendletonRoundUp #HallofFame #BlackCowboys #LeterBuck #TrueWesternTradition #LongLiveCowboys #LongLiveCowgirls #WesternLifestyle
