Today we celebrate Transit Equity Day, held each year on February 4 in memory of the birth of Rosa Parks. We honor Rosa Parks, Mary Louise Smith, Claudette Colvin, Irene Morgan, Fred Gray, Aurelia Browder, and everyone who has fought to make public transportation a more equitable place.
