Hype does crazy things to people. In the modern sneaker game, hype is a tool used by many to create demand and generate interest in a pair of sneakers. It’s easy to fall victim to it, especially when certain social media accounts bombard your feed with early looks, stock number guesses, release info, etc. Just remember; the only influence you need to buy a sneaker should come from your own personal taste and opinion, no one else’s. Some advice. ⬇️ -Don’t buy sneakers before they release -If you miss out on release day, wait a few weeks for secondary market prices settle, if you absolutely need to go that route. -Be patient. Often we convince ourselves to get a sneaker, later to get it in hand, and realize we didn’t want it in the first place. There’s always something else coming out.
