Rothesay is on the Isle of Bute, in #Scotland. Despite being a tiny community, it has opened its heart to refugees like Wafa (pictured here), a Syrian mother who resettled in the town after fleeing conflict. Wafa now volunteers at a local charity shop and helps other refugees as they adapt to a very different way of life. A warm welcome from host communities like Rothesay is instrumental for supporting refugees as they become part of and contribute to their new homes.
