As canisiushsswim prepares for Wednesday’s All-Catholic Championships, here’s a special look at those pursuing excellence every day behind the Blue Doors and for coach Christian Balkin ‘18. These photos were taken in our pool at 1180 Delaware Ave., which was constructed a century ago but is still used by the Crusaders for practices as they continue the program’s tremendous winning tradition. The Crusaders, with just three seniors (pictured: Erik Parkes, Ryan Stravino and Colin Tupis) won this year’s Monsignor Martin Athletic Association regular season title and looks to extend its championship win streak Wednesday. CHS has won 21 straight All-Catholic titles.
