Roll Jays. Historic and emphatic win for the Creighton Soccer program yesterday. Going into the Big East Tournament, they’d never won the ship, and no sixth-seed or lower had ever lifted the trophy in the competition’s history. Creighton had already downed the No.3 and No.2 seed en route to the final against the mighty Georgetown, and Sunday they reaffirmed their status as giant killers. 3-0 in just over 45 mins, and it was lights out for the Hoyas. The frigid Maryland weather didn’t stop the fervent celebrations once the final whistle blew, and the Big East trophy now heads to Creighton for the first time ever.
