The Aberdeenshire native has developed into one of Scotland’s finest performers. She became the first singer to win the coveted title of Musician of the Year at the 2021 MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards. In December of 2023, Iona claimed the title for a second time. Iona has been providing content for the Society from various locations around Scotland for several years. We are thrilled to finally host her in person.
