Because I have a feeling I’m not the only one… Whether your track anxiety comes from a history with repeated injury or from childhood trauma around running a mile for PE class… “track anxiety” is a real thing! Lately I’ve been doing visualization focused on the feeling in my body when my stride is strong and smooth and powerful, just like it’s meant to be. I know it’s there. I know it’s HERE. For me, it’s about relaxing enough to let the workout come to me instead of stressing out about chasing it down. What helps you manage your track anxiety? P.s. throwing a braid in your hair for some extra confidence and swagger couldn’t hurt! #fastbraidfriday #trackanxiety #trackandfield #visualization
