2.8.24 - Today’s date is a reminder of the ANGELS that we lost just a few years ago. Growing up, Kobe was my favorite player. An unpopular opinion for someone growing up in Portland, Oregon. As a fan of his, I would have never imagined he would be able to impact the world off the court as much as he did on the court. His investment in his family, and the women’s sports community was proof that Kobe was a true LEADER! It was so beautiful to see that leadership being expressed through his daughter Gigi. It was clear at the time that the mamba mentality would live on, but for all the fans and supporters of women’s sports to enjoy! From seeing the progress made in the game, it is clear that the mamba legacy lives on because ANGELS LIVE FOREVER, and these ones will never be forgotten.
