In 2022, royce_duplessis passed House Bill 746, which restricts the use of juvenile solitary confinement, requires youth prisons to swiftly inform the child’s parents & attorney of its use, and requires the agency to record and track its use.⁠ ⁠ This was a MAJOR step forward for treating kids like kids.
