Shiels returns to the team after taking the 2023 season off. In 2022, he started all 16 games for the Eagles and helped lead them to a 6-8-2 record. “We’re thrilled to welcome Evan back to Dubuque and to Emmaus!” shared Coach Chris McHugh. “My staff and I loved working with Evan in 2022, and he really made steady improvement throughout that year! But mostly, we’re excited to invest in Evan on and off the field over the next couple years as he takes these next steps in his faith journey and continues moving towards his future goals.”
