In celebration of Title IX's golden anniversary on June 23 and through the 2023 national championship game, the College Football Playoff will showcase the stories of trailblazing women who have impacted and advanced the sport of college football. This month, we feature Jordie Lindley, Kristina Petersen and Paige Shinberg. Jordie Lindley, Assistant Athletics Director for Communications at Utah, has served as the primary media contact and manages day-to-day communications for the Utes' football program the past four years. She is one of just nine women who currently serve as the primary football contact at a Power 5 program. As associate athletics director for strategic communications, Kristina Petersen is currently in her 17th year at Penn State, including five as the primary communications director for the Nittany Lions' football team.
