Meet EMMA WEISKOPF for this #MajorMonday. Emma is a fourth-year Elementary Education student on track to obtain a Masters in Special Education through the ProTeach program. 🐊Why did you chose your major? I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in the forth grade. My mom works in education and through this I was able to become influenced and inspired by many different factors. She inspired me through her back to school speeches, the way teachers looked up to her and respected her, the culture she created within the entire school, and the way she made every decision with teaching and learning at the forefront. I chose the special education track within the College of Education because of my friend who has down syndrome that I grow up alongside.
