For this week’s #MajorMonday, meet VANESSA W. TOUSSAINT who is a third year Microbiology and Cell Science major. 🐊Why did you chose your major? I’ve always been fascinated by cells, bacteria, viruses, everything in the micro-level.  🐊What do you plan to do with it in the future? There are so many options available post-baccalaureate! I am between getting a masters or PHD related to Microbiology, go into the medical research field, or attending medical school to become a Pediatric Oncologist-Hematologist. 🐊What do you enjoy the most about working within your major at UF? The staff. They are amazing and provide me with so many resources and opportunities as an undergraduate, such as research positions or job positions. They want you to succeed and help you find your path in the STEM field. #UF #UF25 #GoingGator
