The camera I took these with is from 1921. It was originally purchased by my great-great-grandfather. He then gave it to his son before he went off to World War II. He photographed his time in the war, there are photos of old Yankee Stadium, and pictures of the girlfriends he had and the cars he drove. After that, he gave it to my grandfather before he went to Korea. My grandfather photographed his wife, his daughters, his friends, and the places he went with it. Last Christmas, it was given to me. I couldn’t believe that I had a camera that has seen all corners of the world, all of my family, and all the places I’ve never been. I hope this post stays around long enough so my kids can see what I photographed with it. Flags outside my window, neon signs, and a shitty attempt at a self portrait. It needs a ton of work before it’s perfect and I hope I can get it back to how it used to be. Here’s hoping that it lasts another 99 years. - - - 2-24-2020 & 2-25-2020 Southern California - - - #...
