Former Nittany Lion offensive tackle Donovan Smith and the Kansas City Chiefs topped the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in an overtime classic in Super Bowl LVIII. With the win, he secured his second championship ring after winning Super Bowl LV with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
On the other sideline, safety Ji'Ayir Brown made a crucial play in the third quarter, picking off quarterback Patrick Mahomes for his third career interception. He's in his rookie season after being selected in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
