Today, Butterfly Pavilion hosted Governor Polis, First Gentleman Marlon Reis, and the Department of Natural Resources to unveil a new report on the health of pollinators and how Colorado can continue supporting and improving the state’s strong natural ecosystem, landscapes, and agricultural production.    Pollinators are of vital importance to our food security and ecosystem health. The Colorado Native Pollinating Insect Health Study finds that pollinators remain woefully understudied in the state and recommends that we increase our focus on protecting imperiled pollinators and restoring and connecting their habitats.
