“Boss”, our Goliath Birdeater Tarantula is enjoying a ~crunchy~ snack! Burgundy Goliath Birdeater Tarantulas (Theraphosa stirmi), are native to South America, specifically in Venezuela, Brazil, and Guyana.  
 
Despite their intimidating appearance, they are generally not considered aggressive toward humans but may defend themselves if provoked.
